I am a Rock
I am a rock
Strong and resiliant, cool and still, stoic and uncaring to the flow of time
Life around me may whither and shift
But still I remain, a rock
One day I will be a pebble
Small and maluable, weak and insignificant
Wherever the wind or river may flow, I will be carried
Kicked and tossed, broken down by the elements all around
Then I will be a grain of sand
Unnoticed below your feet as you run and play
While to you I may only seem a miniscule grain of sand
In my mind I will always remember
I was a rock
