Mid Course Reflections

There are many things that these past few days have revealed to me. One of them is how happy I am to be challenged in a group that has gotten along super well so far. I have felt supported the entire way without feeling like my personal space or self sufficiency has been sacrificed. The challenges have been entertaining, difficult, and, as a result, I have learned a lot about myself.

My reflections here have given me a great deal of insight into my interactions with the group, and my interactions in the world as a whole. My path of self-reflection this course, which started Day 1, has been deep and personal, and I have cried tears both of sadness and joy.

Who am I? What defines me? What makes a person good? What verse do I wish to leave behind? These questions have plagued me and prompted many journal entries and times spent pondering in silence. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to do these reflections, and I know that by the end of the course, only some 40 days away, I will have changed and solidified into the person that I wish to be going forward.
