Trek View on Nepal: Himalayan Studies Gap Year Semester with Where There Be Dragons

Hey friends

My name is Inga and I’m excited to see you all soon!

I’m Chinese-Norwegian and currently living in Tokyo. I’ve had a pretty international upbringing due to my dad’s work, living  Beijing, Milan, Oslo, Istanbul, and Tokyo. Having been a city dweller pretty much my whole life, I found myself yearning for a break from the cars and concrete and was drawn to the nature/trekking components of the program. I actually travelled to Nepal a couple of years ago on a 10-day school trip. I was blown away by its breathtaking nature and vibrant culture, and I knew I wanted to return again in the future.

I love listening to music, going to gigs, and watching films. I’m excited to learn about Nepali music and I think I’ll try to learn a new instrument for the ISP.

In response to previous post- Vivian if you’re reading this it’d be so cool if you brought your tarot cards! And Louise, I’d be really interested in reading the 20th century plays 🙂 Personally I’ll be bringing “How to Be Both” by Ali Smith and “Confessions of a Mask” by Yukio Mishima.

See you!
