Hello travelers! My name is Rohan Ramrattan and I am a 16 year old from Los Angeles, California. I have two older brothers and a dog, who just so happens to be pregnant with puppies. The reason I am traveling to China is to explore the beauty of this country’s nature and culture. I hope to also come across mind opening experiences that will help me understand a different view of the world.

On my free time, when I’m not working in school, I love to: play tennis, hike and explore, take photos of great views and sights, make beats, and listen to music. My favorite music genres are: electronic, hip hop, reggae, and rock. I am also a upcoming senior at West Ranch high school. At school, I enjoy anatomy the most. This is probably because I want to be a neurologist in the future. I’m also on the varsity tennis team. They don’t teach Mandarin at my school but I hope to learn a lot over this trip, so those of you who know some Mandarin, I will need a little bit of your assistance. I hope to make long-term memories with all of you over this trip. I cannot wait to meet you guys!!!

See you guys in LA (and the rest in Shanghai)!
