Trek part 2 – Jagat to Chokati

The journey from Jagot to Chokati was not as eventful as the first chunk of the trek but I still found it just as interesting. Our campsites were always great and I personally focused more on my connections with my peers as well as our guide Pasang Dai. Pasang Dawa Sherpa was a great guide who was a part of the Sherpa ethnicity and is also a guide on Everest. He was great with our group and I truly enjoyed getting to know him on a personal level. I developed a friendship with him and I will stay in touch with him after this trip. He was always in a great mood and was extremely helpful with any of the needs that our group had. It was truly a blessing to have someone like him accompany us on our trek and I’m grateful for his presence. Arriving in Chokati marked the end of our trek and I will look back on it with a big smile on my face for the rest of my life. I did it. I trekked in the Himalayas and did it strongly. I wasn’t excited to do the trek before this trip even started but now it is something that I hope I will be able to do again in the near future and many times after. Thinking about my family always. I miss you guys and am excited to see you and begin the next chapter in my life. Much love
