The Great Wall at Sunrise

This morning, thanks to Ian’s brilliance, eight of us decided to watch the sunrise from a tower of the Great Wall.  Ron set a breakneck pace, and made sure that we all made it up in time.  As the sun broke over the mountains, we couldn’t quite believe that we really were just casually standing on a 600-year-old dilapidated monument and watching the sun do as it does each day.  We then walked to the next tower, just in time to see the sun crest over the mountain.  Check out the photos, they’re pretty great!
